Speaking of Dale Allison, I read his book C...Mark,<br /><br />Speaking of Dale Allison, I read his book Constructing Jesus. It's excellent. Allison has an incredible knowledge of messianic movements in history. I'd be curious what you think of Allison's argument that Jesus believed the end would happen in his life or shortly thereafter.<br /><br />I know this is off topic, but can someone tell me what the mythers think about Paul, Peter, James and the Gospel writers. Did these folks think or suspect that Jesus didn't exist? Did Peter know that stories were circulating about his interaction with Jesus?
