  1. Interesting Podcast. Of course with regard to dates out about the birth of Jesus, it is hard for us to realise how difficult it was to piece together an accurate chronology. Most ancient historians around the 1st century used relative dating through events, rulers, regnal years, Olympiads, and wars, reigns of emperors, or religious festivals. So it little surprise that Luke was not always accurate.

    Incidentally I've been re-reading Luke and he seems to have more incidents of fatigue than Matthew. There's a certain view that the "we passages" in Acts are a literary device, but has anyone rather seen them as simply another case of fatigue?
